From our sleuthing – and by this we mean frantically pausing a rapidly moving Instagram story – her new ’do is shaggy, with loose curls and parted on the side. Slightly longer than a traditional pixie cut, with more movement and volume, the cut blends the best parts of a face-framing bob with the gamine energy of a pixie.
A committed non-Instagrammer – Zendaya tends to post only on her birthday, to promote her films or to mark particularly special memories – we’re often left in the dark about her latest aesthetic direction.
31 weeks ago, she shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her On campaign, replete with a short, choppy, straight pixie. Since then, it’s been an adorable baby photo to ring in her turning 29 and two posts for her upcoming wedding saga, The Drama with Robert Pattinson.
In terms of similarities, the cut is most reminiscent of her 2025 Golden Globes appearance, though her new style is bouncier, sits higher up the face and has fewer uniform curls.
While we’re still in the dark as to how Zendaya fared at the round table (though we do know that Holland’s brother, Harry, was one of the traitors) with such a covetable pixie, we think she’s the outright winner anyway. Congratulations, our Z!
