The company’s claims shifted from “built in the United States” to “proudly American” design, acknowledging logistical hurdles in domestic manufacturing. While the company continues to accept $100 deposits and blames a federal shutdown for delays, analysts are skeptical the phone will ever launch. Currently, Trump Mobile sells refurbished iPhones and Samsung models instead.
