The Nvidia “Bombshell” Isn’t a Tesla Killer
Some Tesla investors thought a bomb dropped yesterday.
Nvidia’s Jensen Huang announced a new self-driving platform called Alpamayo. He called it the world’s first thinking, reasoning vehicle AI. Nvidia plans to launch a Level 2 system with Mercedes-Benz, using cameras and radar — and they openly admit lidar is required for Level 3 and 4.
So is this a Tesla killer?
