Corvex and Movano Health announced a merger, touting Corvex as an AI cloud company led by Seth Demsey, Jay Crystal, and Brian Raymond, its CTO. Press releases and SEC filings explicitly stated Raymond was Corvex’s CTO and would retain the role post-merger. Raymond also affirmed his position on LinkedIn. However, timing proved problematic as Raymond was indicted shortly after, accused of illegally exporting GPUs to China through an electronics company. The indictment was unsealed recently, creating a significant discrepancy between Corvex’s public statements and the serious legal allegations against its supposed CTO. Corvex has not corrected their earlier statements.
