Professional darts player Dom Taylor has been suspended for six months after testing positive for a banned substance at the PDC World Championship. The substance was found in a sample given at the event. The suspension means Taylor will not be able to compete in major upcoming tournaments, including the UK Open. Taylor admitted the violation and said he took an over-the-counter product without checking its ingredients, calling it a “huge error.” The ban is acting retroactively from December 20, 2024, and will conclude on June 19, 2025.
