In Tuesday’s TGL match, Justin Rose secured Los Angeles Golf Club’s first win of the season with a historic shot. Rose scored an albatross on a par-5 with a 227-yard 4-iron—the first ever recorded in the league—to help defeat Jupiter Links GC 8-4.
Despite a late surge from Jupiter, powered by a birdie from Max Homa, LAGC held their lead. Collin Morikawa sank a clinching 17-foot birdie putt to seal the victory, moving Los Angeles to a 1-1 record for the season.
