Medical reasons have prompted NASA to accelerate the return of the SpaceX Crew-11 mission from the International Space Station. The crew is stable, but details regarding the medical concern are being withheld to protect privacy.
NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov are now scheduled to undock on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 5:05 p.m. EST. They are targeted to splash down off the coast of California on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 3:41 a.m. EST. NASA will provide live coverage of the undocking and return.
