Apple is currently offering a 17% discount on the new Mac mini with the M4 chip. As of January 23, shoppers can purchase the base model at Amazon for $499—down from $599—saving $100.
This entry-level Mac mini features the M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and GPU, starting with 16GB of unified memory (double the previous generation). Its redesigned chassis is incredibly compact, roughly the size of an Apple TV box, and now features front-facing ports for easier access. Note that this is a “BYOD” (Bring Your Own Display) setup; while the computer is included, you will need to supply your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
