The name “Phone 4a” would sort of imply that this is a mid-range take on the Phone 4. The only problem with that assumption is that there isn’t a Nothing Phone 4. Company CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed the firm is taking a year off of doing a major flagship release, so it seems like the more budget-friendly Phone 4a models are all we’re getting in 2026.
In other words, if the annual race to the top from the other companies is exhausting to you and you need a new Android handset, maybe the Nothing Phone 4a is worth a look.
