Astronomers have discovered extremely red objects in deep space, leading to the theoretical concept of “black hole stars.” These hypothetical objects propose a black hole at their core, surrounded by a massive envelope of normal matter, potentially explaining the ultra-red color. Most notably, “The Cliff,” an ultra-red object, sparked the hypothesis. Black hole stars offer a possible solution to the puzzle of how supermassive black holes grew so quickly in the early universe. However, these objects are purely theoretical, and their actual existence is yet to be confirmed by direct observation.
