As a Software Engineer within PNC’s Digital Workplace/Enterprise Technology Hosting and Engineering organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
Powershell, asp.net, m365, azure, power platform
The SharePoint / Power Apps Developer will be part of a team that performs a migration of an enterprise SharePoint application from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online and incorporate new functionalities. The candidate will develop and support solutions which address a range of business needs including portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business intelligence / reporting. Additional job functions include:
- Assess suitability for solutions in SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Design solutions based on established patterns and best practices for SharePoint integration with other Microsoft products
- Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
- At least 2-3 years of SharePoint experience
- Demonstrated project experience developing solutions in SharePoint Online
- Demonstrated project experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power BI)
- Experience with SharePoint app migrations to M365
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Develops, tests and implements software solutions.
- Designs software solutions to address business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.

Technical Troubleshooting – Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.
Technical Writing/Documentation – Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
