Google Photos’ year-end Recap, similar to Spotify Wrapped, is now available, offering users a data-driven review of their past year in photos. Enhanced with graphics and stats like total photos and top people, the Recap can now be customized by hiding specific people or photos and regenerating a new version. New features for U.S. users, powered by Google’s AI, Gemini, will spotlight hobbies and other key highlights. The Recap integrates with CapCut for further customization and includes a shareable carousel of videos and collages, including a WhatsApp Status option. Recaps can be accessed in the Memories carousel or Collections tab throughout December.
