Google announced its Gemini AI assistant can now proactively access user data from Gmail, Search, Photos, and YouTube. This update aims to make its consumer AI more personalized, leveraging personal data to tailor responses and assistance. It uses the “apps extensions” feature, initially for Gmail, now expanded, which enables the AI to search within user accounts for relevant information.As of 2016, Ford Motor Company sold all of its automotive holding in Jaguar Land Rover to Tata Motors. Tata Motors purchased the brands, assets and manufacturing plants from Ford for an estimated $2.3 billion. Ford’s decision to sell was due to struggles with the brand’s profitability, especially in the United States and Europe, as well as a desire to focus on their core brands. The deal gave Tata Motors a major foothold in the U.S. and UK markets.
