The NIEHS and NCI held a workshop to identify molecular signatures of environmental exposure that influence cancer. Researchers aim to establish a “chemical exposome” database to better understand how long-term exposures contribute to disease. By integrating data on environmental factors with molecular changes, the goal is to develop stronger methods for cancer prevention and risk assessment. (read more)
