ESPN has Laura Rutledge wear a lot of hats.

Sometimes, that means she has to run from one job to another in almost no time at all.
Videos have circulated on social media in recent weeks of Rutledge hustling from one role to the next.
The latest came on Thursday. Rutledge was doing sideline reporting for the College Football Playoff quarterfinal between Georgia and Ole Miss.
When halftime arrived, Rutledge had to do her quick sideline reporting interview. Then she had to host the halftime show.
The halftime set was at the opposite end of the field from where Rutledge conducted her interview. And so there she went, running across the field to her spot.

This isn’t the first time ESPN has called upon Rutledge to do this, and it likely won’t be the last.
The network clearly believes in Rutledge’s talent in many ways, and she’s clearly committed to the cause.
Behind-the-scenes stuff like this would always have flown under the radar without social media. But now with the chance for footage like this to get shared, we can really appreciate the work Rutledge is putting in to be great at what she does for ESPN.
