While over 50% of executives claim AI saves them over 4 hours weekly, 40% of employees report AI saves them no time at all, and 27% say it saves less than two hours.
Furthermore, a Workday survey suggests these productivity gains may be overblown, noting that 85% of employees who save time simply spend it correcting AI errors. Consequently, 40% of workers are content to never use AI again, signaling fading “social permission” for the technology, as warned by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
