Australian golfer Cameron Smith has confirmed he will not return to the PGA Tour, opting to remain with LIV Golf. Smith, who won The Open before defecting in 2022, stated he stands by his decision to join the Saudi-backed league. This announcement follows fellow major champion Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour earlier this week.
While the PGA Tour launched a one-time “Returning Member Program” allowing eligible LIV stars to come back under penalty, Smith has declined the offer. Despite missing all four major cuts in 2025, Smith remains committed to LIV, where he has secured three victories.
