Author Craig Silvey, acclaimed writer of Jasper Jones and Runt, has been charged with possessing and distributing child exploitation material. Police executed a search warrant at his Fremantle home on Monday, 12 January. Detectives allege they found Silvey "actively engaging with other child exploitation offenders online." The 43-year-old prominent Australian author faces serious charges following the investigation.
