After more than a decade with his hometown club, goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois is leaving CF Montréal.
The club announced Monday it has traded the 24-year-old to FC Dallas in exchange for up to $350,000 in general allocation money (GAM).
Montreal receives $75,000 in guaranteed GAM for each of 2026 and 2027 and up to $200,000 if performance-based conditions are met. Montreal will also retain a sell-on percentage if Sirois is transferred in the future.
Sirois, from St-Hubert, has been with the franchise since 2015, initially as part of the Spatial Saint-Hubert club in the team’s academy, and signed his first professional contract with CF Montréal in 2020.
In his 23 MLS matches in 2025, he had four clean sheets. In three seasons in MLS, he has played 89 games, starting 88, and has 24 clean sheets, a save percentage of 66.67 per cent. His goals-against average is 1.68 per 90 minutes of play.
