Launched alongside Vrabel’s successful first season—coinciding with the team’s 16-3 record and Super Bowl run—the program has already seen dozens of adoptions, including 40 dogs on its first day.
Inspired by the family dog Heisman, the initiative has partnered with local shelters and seen increased engagement from players and fans. Looking ahead, the Krafts plan to expand Pawtriots into a national effort focusing on pairing adoptable dogs with veterans to help combat PTSD and suicide rates.
