Michael Saylor’s Strategy has purchased an additional 22,305 Bitcoin, spending approximately $2.13 billion at an average price of $95,284 per BTC. The acquisition, disclosed on January 20, was funded through an at-the-market (ATM) equity and preferred stock program that raised $2.125 billion in net proceeds.
Following this purchase, Strategy holds 709,715 BTC acquired for roughly $53.92 billion. The company continues to utilize MSTR shares and STRC preferred stock to fuel its accumulation strategy, maintaining Bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset. Despite buying near recent highs, Strategy’s overall average cost basis remains at $75,979 per BTC. The company retains over $8.4 billion in available securities for future acquisitions.
