Honda has unveiled the Honda Base Station Prototype, a solar-powered camping trailer designed for electric vehicle owners and families. The trailer, which is developed in the U.S., is modular and features a “smart,” bright interior. It can sleep up to four people and offers seven feet of stand-up space when the roof is raised.
The Base Station is powered by an integrated solar system and lithium battery, supporting accessories like an air conditioner and an external kitchen. While Honda has not released specific details regarding battery capacity or pricing, the trailer is intended to be “competitively priced” to compete with lightweight travel trailers.
