A highly anticipated mod for Rockstar’s 2006 game Bully that added online multiplayer was abruptly shut down on Wednesday. Spearheaded by YouTuber Swegta, "Bully Online" allowed players to compete in minigames and roleplay. Just a month after its initial release (which followed a brief period of paid early access), the developers announced on Discord that the takedown was involuntary. Consequently, the project’s source code has been removed from the website, development has ceased, and all user account data is being deleted.
