After an outage lasting over 10 hours on Wednesday, Verizon has confirmed that its mobile network is fully restored.
The disruption, which began around 11:55 a.m. ET, left devices stuck in “SOS mode,” preventing users from making calls or using mobile data. While the issue is resolved, Verizon recommends restarting devices to reconnect. The outage also caused significant issues with 911 calls, with some users unable to reach emergency services.
Verizon has apologized and announced it will provide account credits to affected customers. The cause of the outage remains unknown.
