Nike has signed its first-ever professional pickleball athlete, an apparel and footwear deal with world No. 1-ranked player Anna Leigh Waters. The 18-year-old phenom will represent Nike across all events, serving as a global ambassador for the brand.
This partnership marks Nike’s significant entry into the rapidly growing sport. Waters, who recently ended a deal with Fila, boasts a record-breaking career including 181 gold medals. She commented that joining the brand her idols wore is a “dream realized.” The collaboration will debut this week at the Carvana Masters.
