BMW is developing its first true high-performance EV under its “Neue Klasse” architecture, set to debut next year. Unlike previous electric M models, which BMW didn’t consider true M cars, this upcoming vehicle—potentially called the iM3—promises to set a new benchmark in performance.
The key innovation is a software-defined system called “Heart of Joy.” This computer runs “BMW M Dynamic Performance Control” software, offering significantly faster response times than current M models.
