On January 11, 2026, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base, carrying NASA’s Pandora small satellite. Along with SPARCS and BlackCAT CubeSats, Pandora will spend its first year studying at least 20 known exoplanets. The mission’s primary objective is to analyze the atmospheres of these distant worlds, specifically identifying the presence of water, hazes, and clouds to better understand their composition.
