Former Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has died at the age of 59, his family announced. Best known as the state’s 26th Attorney General, Brnovich was a former prosecutor and Army National Guard member. He served as AG from 2014 to 2022 and was an unsuccessful candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2022. A first-generation Serbian American and Arizona State alumnus, he was also recently tapped to be the U.S. Ambassador to Serbia. The cause of death has not been released.
