Anthropic has launched a new feature called Cowork for its macOS Claude desktop app. Designed for general office work, Cowork gives the AI access to a specific folder, allowing users to assign tasks using plain language instructions. Anthropic developed this tool after noticing many users were already using Claude Code for non-technical tasks. It also offers “agentic” perks, such as the ability to issue new instructions to the AI while a task is already in progress.
