Dani Busboom Kelly, Nebraska’s volleyball coach, earned Big Ten Coach of the Year after leading the Huskers to an undefeated regular season (30-0) in her first year, succeeding John Cook. The team dominated, winning 25 matches in sweeps and losing only seven sets. Busboom Kelly is the first coach to win a Big Ten volleyball title in their debut year. This is her fourth conference coach of the year award, having previously won three ACC awards at Louisville. The Huskers received the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament and will face Long Island in the first round.
