Ben Griffin celebrated his third victory of the season at the World Wide Technology Championship in Los Cabos, finishing at 29-under. Interestingly, this marks his first actual “trophy” despite previous wins at the Zurich Classic (belt buckle) and Charles Schwab (belt buckle and a car that unfortunately burned during delivery). Griffin, grateful for his success, acknowledged the unusual awards misfortune and hopes this trophy arrives safely. He joins a select group of players, including Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, to win three times this season and becomes the first since Scheffler to earn his first three career wins in the same season since 2022.
